Which means that it's not an active campaign and also that Superdelegates are not a problem to them any longer.

They've quit, without saying they quit.

I don't even know what he means by "fight to the convention." They've already given him representation on the platform committee, and they'll surely give him a speaking spot. As for changing the party's system: he has zero leverage over that one. All that gives him leverage, I guess, is the threat to have his delegates disrupt the convention.

It's really quite pathetic in a way, and it makes me sad that he can't seem to bring himself to be a statesman rather than a fly in the ointment. But I keep giving him another few days, a week ... I'm not encouraged, though.

This wasn't even a close election. 2008 was close: 48 to 48% pretty much. This time there was a 12 point spread. Every election season someone wins and someone loses. Usually the loser is graceful. Never have I seen them demand special rights because they came in second. It's so incredibly curious.

he said he would work to keep Trump out of the WH.

I think that Jane is a great instigator. She had designs on redecorating the Residence.

Clinton and Sanders know how this is going to end. There will be an agreement that both sides will agree to work to make the process more democratic and Sanders will endorse Clinton.

He had a great opportunity to come fully onboard and would go back to the Senate as a party leader. Once Clinton is elected he would have clout and could push his priorities.

Now he will ensure that he be relegated to the back benches. Make good speeches and get zero done as they all eye roll at the mention of his name.

you don't give up before you get something you want. otherwise you would get nothing, Ask Clinton she got Obama to help raise money for her debt for 4 years until she could get back her personal loan. Did she get it by saying, OK you won? no she held out for 4 days while they worked it out.
Honestly I really wonder what kind of world people live in that they don't know the basics of negotiations.
