Related: About this forumBERNIE FLIPS CALIFORNIA AND NINE MORE SUPERDELEGATES
AS MILLIONS OF PROVISIONAL AND MAIL IN BALLOTS ARE COUNTED
Even though the Associated Press declared that Hillary Clinton secured enough delegates for the Democratic nomination, and later issued a correction blaming the erroneous statement due to an editing error, Hillary Clinton did not actually earn enough delegates to be declared the nominee of the Democratic Party. In fact, Clinton also has not actually won California either. In view of the information from polling place workers about Sanders winning by more than a 2 to 1 margin and in view of the removal of 2/3 or more of his votes from the official results.
Poll workers in Los Angeles and Orange County report that Bernie won the electronic votes in their precincts by well over a 2 to 1 margin, the opposite of the result of the vote count. The contrast between this and the outcome is indicative of vote-flipping. Also the outcome.. outcome does not match what anyone who has conducted polling in this state knows: Below the election night video is a video about black box voting (Hacking Democracy) , The Democratic Party has essentially endorsed this video, showing it at various conventions and another video of a computer programmer confessing to creating a vote-flipping program.

(20,453 posts)You have that talking point memorized because you don't want to even think of Clinton's allegiance to Wall Street. It's too painful. Corporatism is something foreign to your ears. Anyone who would actively support it as SoS and bend over to purposely look the other way while we're being raped as a country BY corporatism is tabu in the talking points from which you're operating. You think that's too benign.
There is not one good reason for ANY candidate to have been held up all these many months by big moneyed interests. So, when someone reminds you after seeing that Sanders has turned over income taxes in where the entire year he made almost as much as she got from that Goldman Sachs talk, and you hear, "where's the transcripts?", you not only don't have an answer, you don't understand the question.

Sanders 43.9%
All 5 others the remaining %
The latest results haven't changed any of the statewide races. In the closely watched Democratic presidential primary, Hillary Clinton's lead over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders stands at more than 11 percentage points. That's largely the same gap that existed between Clinton and Sanders on election night.

(Btw, I bought my 5-year-old grandson who wanted "referee" stuff a $15 plastic bullhorn ($15 instead of $12 for adjustable sound level), a $5 whistle, and a stop/timer watch on Amazon. The bullhorn can be heard at lowest level down a high school football field during a game, the whistle is professional quality and would grab attention in a burning theater. Who knew? He got to keep the watch, and his parents have a another good "grandma" story for their friends.)

(546 posts)from today's Huffington Post:
Over 220,000 provisional ballots have already been already been discounted in the presidential primaries this year, according to a survey by The Huffington Post, with many thousands more likely to be tossed as states finish certifying their primaries.
Congress passed the Help America Vote Act in 2002 after the disaster that was the 2000 presidential election. That legislation created provisional ballots (they are sometimes referred to as affidavit or challenge ballots) to act as a backup in case a poll worker cannot immediately establish a voters eligibility.
To determine how many peoples ballots didnt count this year, HuffPost asked nearly every state that held a presidential primary this cycle how many provisional ballots were cast and how many of those provisional ballots were ultimately counted. Some states partially count ballots cast outside of the voters precinct by counting selections for state and federal offices, but not local races.
HuffPost got statewide data from 23 of the states that held primaries this year, plus data from Arizonas largest county, Maricopa; data from Kansas, whose GOP caucus weirdly issues provisional ballots caucuses dont typically involve ballots; and data from New York City, where the chaotic Democratic presidential primary resulted in an unusually high number of provisional ballots submitted and rejected. (Public affairs officials with the New York State Board of Elections ignored repeated emails and calls from HuffPost.)
The legislation that created provisional ballots has little guidance on what to do with the actual votes, so our survey could not be entirely comprehensive. Some states dont collect provisional ballot data at the statewide level, so this survey does not include data from five states that redirected us to their counties: Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Tennessee and West Virginia. It is too soon to know how many provisional ballots were cast in states that held primaries in the last month, so it does not include data from Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Dakota and the District of Columbia. In the nations most populous state, California, tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of provisional ballots have yet to be counted.

(111,877 posts)I suspect that there will be some bugs that will need be fixed when the system goes live. As a former programmer I know that things never work exactly as they are expected. For example one of the alerts gave a message that the post was made in an incorrect forum; however, the alert message did not indicate where the post was made so it was not possible for the jurors to determine the correct decision.
While Elad has worked hard on the new system I won't be surprised if the system gets locked and nobody will be able to post. However, I must admit that after 25,000+ posts with no hides there was a satisfying feeling getting FFR'd and having my transparency page showing.

Clinton still has 54% of the vote. You can look at the results in particular counties. It should be an obvious point that someone can win 2-1 in one or more precincts in a county as large as LA and still lose the county and the state.
