she had 100% name recognition, the support of the DNC and superdelegates locked up well before she even declared, SuperPac funding and extensive media coverage, not very impressive. 13 million people voted for a candidate only 3% had heard of before he declared, was opposed by the DNC, had no SuperPac funding, and had no media coverage until he had won a few primaries and caucuses. By all rights, she should have cleaned up but didn't. Time for some introspection, not arrogance.

I have literally never before seen it claimed that a 13-point win was anything other than a landslide.

Or even what Jimmy Carter did to Ted Kennedy. Clinton lost 22 states despite having the advantage of nearly the entire DNC apparatus working for her. She performed a good public service in exposing how corrupt the Democratic Party has become, though.
