Bernie supporters boo the lone Senator to endorse Sanders after he voices support for Hillary

TACOMA, Wash. — The lone U.S. senator to have endorsed Bernie Sanders told state Democrats that they need to unite behind Hillary Clinton in order to defeat Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Sen. Jeff Merkley of Oregon told those gathered at the Democratic state convention that while Clinton wasn't his first choice, she's the nominee.

"To advance the goals that so resonated in Bernie Sander's campaign, we need Hillary Clinton to win this election," he said, as the crowd erupted into boos from the Sanders supporters
, mixed with cheers from the Clinton camp.

The head of the state Democratic party says that next year, party leaders will look into moving away from using the caucus system to allocate delegates to the national convention

7. Maybe because the majority of the people just don't want revolution.

You can't have a revolution without popular support, not while maintaining democracy.

Same dopes that wasted 2011 screaming that they wanted a primary challenge against Obama, will spend the next 4 years of Hillary's presidency screaming that SHE needs a primary challenge.

Meanwhile, they'll do nothing to generate "acceptably liberal" candidates for the future.

10. There is more at stake then just free tuition and universal healthcare.

Besides Bernie supporters have said all along that Sanders always knew that he wouldn't be able to get his agenda of Free healthcare and Universal Health Care thru in his first term anyway. My thought was always, if he knew he couldn't get it through in his first term, than there certainly would be NO second term. That's why President Obama had to got for the ACA in the first term since a second term is never guaranteed, and he couldn't afford to wait for the perfect Health Care system and allow 'The Perfect to be the enemy of the Good".
