Tomorrow's the big day.

First of all, I want to let those who I've disagreed with, that I did so sincerely. However, I often let my emotions get in the way of having an intelligent interaction with many of you. For that, I do apologize.

I may not change my allegiance going forward but my approach will be much different. No more sniping or sarcasm. I plan to conduct myself according to this site's TOS. If I disagree, I will say so but not in any offensive manner.

In hindsight, we all know very few people at DU changed their outlook or opinions based on what others in the opposition said or linked to. But often it seemed like an opportunity to attack if one disagreed. That unfortunately is human nature when one feels so invested in the topic or subject at hand.

I hope that those who primarily post in protected groups will come out of their safe zone and talk with everyone. As a Sanders supporter, I spent very little time in that group, because I want interaction with everyone (unless I had no option but to ignore 10 or so people).

I hope to read and learn different perspectives. I may not agree but that's okay. Let's hope we can all accept that.

I'm happy to have respectful conversations to anyone whose posts I can still see.

At least, any conversations that are about moving issues forward, and not about Hillary Clinton. I won't be discussing her, or her campaign, here. As far as the presidential election goes, I'll be done talking about it.

I won't swear off sarcasm altogether, but that still leaves room for improvement. Without constantly feeling a need to defend Democrats and liberal policies from hostile attacks, I actually think it'll be pretty easy. I'm also very tired of immoderate attacks on Sanders, and it'll be good to have them gone also.

enough Hillary emails that she should get indicted (except he thinks she probably won't because of political maneuvering, but the evidence is there for it).
We'll see if he delivers.

Unfortunately, I don't know how damning they would have to be for her supporters to care. We've seen dozens of threads and videos with piles of evidence of flip-flops, distortions and outright lies and so far they don't seem to mind one bit.

and no one made much of it until wikileaks let it all loose. There was a firestorm when all that evidence hit the media.
So far, a lot of people think rumor and consipracy, until the MSM starts discussing it.
That should start a conversation.

There's a clump of posters who want a wholesale purge, and really think Skinner's going to give it to them. I can already see in my head some specific posters wailing on ATA about it.

...and hypocritically temper their criticism, while still passively aggressively dropping news stories to bash Clinton.

I expect Trump posts to actually increase, with lots of "GE" concern, and you will know who the posters are who are doing it relatively easily.

Remember, this site allowed the notorious Better Believe It to literally shit stir for most of the 2012 campaign, and he had a huge following. I expect something similar, but way more two faced.

I will not vote for Hillary. But I will place on my paper ballot, a paper ballot that I fought to get, a mark next to the name of whoever is the Democratic Party nominee.

Then I will place it in the slot of the computerized counting machine to be counted by a possibly miscounting program that could actually turn my vote into a republican vote. I don't know and there is no way for me to know how it will be counted.

Were Bernie president already, and had been these last 3 1/2 years, I would have much more faith that my ballot would be counted exactly as cast because that could be done. As it stands, I have no faith.

President bush was placed into office via miscounted votes, so before anyone tells me I am a conspiracy theorist, I ask that you consider the facts and the history and join the real world in making sure our election system is never corrupted again.
