(19,864 posts)...and if anyone decides they want to continue to insult Sanders or his supporters, those posts will be just as subject to an alert.
I don't think 100% of the people here get that, but it's Skinner's Website, and he'll sort it all out.

(4,187 posts)If a person cannot state their argument in a civil and polite manner, then perhaps their argument is not strong enough for people to bother with.

(2,510 posts)Your candidate won, but you sure took a beating in here. Possibly deservedly so.

(32,886 posts)People try to attack me all the time from the right, the left and every other place, that's nothing new. The point is what the end result of that is.
My candidate won, and the folks who attacked me got nothing they wanted.

(32,886 posts)Of course we already know. It's not Clinton supporters that are pitching a fit about the new rules.

(32,886 posts)There were others like it. Compared to the nastiness leveled against me, I wasn't only civil, I was downright beatific.
And as to this overall discussion we are having regarding civility, I will have no problem at all, whereas folks on the other side, well, let's just say I dont think they can discourse that way.

(1,446 posts)Hopefully nothing from contributors either.

(32,886 posts)And since I am not a contributor of either network, no problem there either.
BTW, you know you only have a few more hours for these nasty attacks on me right? What do you plan to do with your life afterwards?
Matt_in_STL
(1,446 posts)And it is a nasty attack noting that you have contributed to both Fox News and Newsmax? Perhaps you should find better company to keep then if pointing out something you did is considered an attack.

(32,886 posts)Don't peddle right-wing talking points, smears, or sources
Do not post right-wing talking points or smears. Do not post content sourced from right-wing publications, authors, or pundits. Exceptions are permitted if you provide a clear reason for doing so that is consistent with the values of this website.
When I post my videos, its to promote the Democratic position, and that is always clear.

(84,711 posts)DU Contributor Steve Leser is a Faux News paid Dem Consultant. Does that mean that "DU Steve" will be banned from posting from an "Unapproved Site?"
NO WAY!
stevenleser
(32,886 posts)And you managed to implement one with only two sentences. Let's deal with them one at a time.
"DU Contributor" - I'm not a contributor here, I'm a member like anyone else. Contributor has a specific meaning in media meaning "Paid employee". DU doesnt pay me.
"Fox News paid Dem Consultant" - Nope, I am an unpaid guest when I appear on Fox just like Bernie Sanders. I've actually told you this several times now. I'm glad after tomorrow you wont be able to make these silly attacks to make me repeat myself anymore.
"Banned from posting" - Nope, I have no problems not attacking people, unlike what you just did.
"Unapproved site" - Skinner said that what is considered right wing media will not be allowed unless the posting is consistent with the mission of the website, i.e. promoting Democrats and Democratic issues. File this under "Reading is fundamental"
