"The era of pig flight will be glorious" ... What say you?

Had to check in over on dKOS and found this in an open thread:

Mark Halperin proves (again) he’s an idiot and the responses are golden:

Mark Halperin @MarkHalperin
What would happen if Trump picked a popular, qualified vp, started talking only abt need to change DC, middle class,...

I don't know. What'd happen if Earth turned inside out & pigs flew? I only ask bc it's equally likely.

Charles Johnson ?@Green_Footballs
What would happen if Trump started showing up to rallies wearing only a wet suit and Mickey Mouse ears?

AAmom ?@AVD911
he ain't gonna pick you Mark.

Freddy Benson ?@FredBen217
Agreeing to run with Donald Trump automatically makes one "unqualified" to be responsible for anything.

I'm going with, "What if the earth turned flat again?"

No, Trump is not going to pick a "popular, qualified VP" because such a person, if one even exists in the GOP any more, will not want to be anywhere downwind of Trump's garbage fire. And Trump, being a weapons-grade narcissist, can't limit his remarks to actual issues; he can't help talking about how great he is and how bad most other people who aren't him - especially liberals, Muslims, immigrants, Mexicans, you name it - are. He just can't help himself.

He's already talked about picking a pro politician as his VP. He'll need to pick a somewhat-mythical moderate to counter his nuttiness.

Getting one to accept the slot will be more difficult, if not impossible.

"started talking only abt need to change DC, middle class,... "

That part, not gonna happen.
