Donald Trump Campaign Appears to Be Paying a Fictional Ad Agency

"In their most recent FEC filing, the Donald Trump campaign revealed that they paid $35,000 to an ad agency that, by all appearances, doesn’t actually exist.

ThinkProgress’ Judd Legum caught the odd detail when poring over Trump’s financial statements."

But I can't imagine why they would believe no one would pick up on an obvious nod to Mad Men,it's laughable.

What's funny is the open sarcasm of paying money to a clearly fictional entity.

Now, it's possible that someone started an internet advertising business of that name, but Google can't seem to find it, and Google is very good at finding stuff on the internet.

Sounds completely bogus.

...campaign payments to fictitious ad agency?

That's a hell of a scoop. I've always had the impression Trump was a helplessly compulsive liar and a cheat. It would stand to reason he'd reflexively snub the law like he's above it all. If not him, anyone who would closely associate themselves with any of his enterprises has to be suspect as well.

Doubt it has anything to do with incompetence. Much more likely Republican-style graft.

Just, unbelievable. I've never seen anything like the Cheeto Jesus campaign.
