It has nothing to do with money in politics. It has to do with money that likely exists only in Trump's mind.

Trump on the other hand has built his reputation on his wealth. And rather sickeningly so.

If Trump were a billionaire, he would have enough liquid assets to inject a few million dollars into his campaign. Remember, a billion is a thousand million, if he was worth even one billion, he could cut his campaign a check for a few million that would be made up in interest on his billions in a very short period of time. The fact he hasn't, combined with the fact he 'loaned' his campaign it's initial money is very telling. Hence, #trumpsopoor
That said, money does need to get out of politics.
