A new poll puts presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton ahead of — or neck and neck with — Republican Donald Trump in several key swing states.

The poll, conducted by Quinnipiac University, gives Clinton an 8 percentage point lead over Trump in Florida (47-39), as well as a tie in Ohio (40-40) and a minor lead in Pennsylvania (42-41). The Ohio and Pennsylvania results are both within the margin of error.

RealClearPolitics, which aggregates findings from multiple surveys, puts Clinton at a lead of 2.7 points in Ohio and a lead of 0.5 points in Pennsylvania — still good news for the Clinton campaign.

The poll found that voters in each state believe Clinton to have higher moral standards, to be more intelligent, and to be better prepared than Trump to be president.

I doubt this is correct. Clinton was leading by 5% with likely voters. L. Coyote Jun 2016 #6

... how he could be anywhere near her in any state! Who are these people??? Back in the days of his TV show (blocking on the name... the "You're fired!" one, I caught one or two minutes of it and wondered how anyone could watch it. I feel the same now that he's campaigning. Just unbelievable!!!

And scary... to live in a country with so many Trump supporters.

historic unfavorables for both candidates explains a lot as to the WHY

addressing and correcting it should be the focus

admittedly it's not meant to be instructive, but i suspect the show is not far off from how he manages.

aside from firing people with glee, his management style promotes image management and results over substance and ethics.

if the challenge is to run a better lemonade stand, he's perfectly fine with a contestant calling a rich friend to come over and buy a ton of their inferior and poorly marketed lemonade. sounds like cheating to most people, but trump calls it motivation, ingenuity, and results.

he also encourages people on the losing team to lie and back-stab in order to preserve their own reputations. defense of one's image is fine, but attacking others is essential.

again, yes, it's entertainment, but good grief, the only management skills you could learn from him are by counter-example.

Said it wasn't a good poll because it was over a week.
He said it was to long a time.
All polls stink
