It was a clip of a congressperson participating in the sit in who said it.

He might have said the NRA said the participants of the sit in are supporting terrorists and criminals but I can't be sure. I am not a stenographer.

I know you're just mentioning what you saw on the news, but it's useless to everyone else without a link because there's no way to verify it. You're literally wasting people's time when you make or repeat unverifiable claims, and I don't like having my time wasted.

I resent being called a liar. I am reporting what I saw. Make it worth my time and I will get a transcript of her entire show to demonstrate the veracity of my post. If you don't like what I have to post i respectfully submit you can put me on "ignore"

I appreciate you going to find the link in the end. I never post anything without a link because it's the only thing that allows people to follow up such a claim in a timely fashion. Not everyone has a DVR or even a TV, that's why it's good to give people citations so that they can follow up on their own.

It wasn't something I read... As soon as Oasis mentioned it was on the Media Matters website I went to their website and got documentation.

I might be old but I am still sentient. I know what I saw.

Providing a link to a claim is really basic netiquette, not least because you don't know when people will be reading your post so referring to a time-specific broadcast (eg 'on TV right now') is simply not helpful to people. You'll have a more enjoyable internet experience by adopting this as a habit, I promise.

It's more of the same "If you're not with us, you're supporting the terraists" horseshit.

I've been outspoken in my disdain for the National Republican Armory here, but since I
don't hew completely to the line demanded by the gun control Puritans,
I am deemed to be a NRA supporter by them.
