1. If he was holding out for the final tally in California, maybe so

There's a good chance that he will be mathematically eliminated from winning CA today.

2. If he won the state, how many delegates

would he pick up? Not enough to overcome Hillary's lead, I don't imagine.

6. Not nearly enough

Clinton only needed 17% of the California delegates to win the pledged majority; as of this morning, she would have 47% even if every single remaining ballot goes to Sanders.

15. Not even close. But he won;t win CA.

Clinton still has about a 450,000 vote lead with only 680,000 votes outstanding. He has been about breaking even with the outstnading votes. No way he takes the lead.

11. Sander's has been in a lose / lose situation for a year. Second guessing is just that.

Our deciding what he should do is of no value. His life has been an example of real action. He doesn't need to 'start' doing that. People should stop judging and let this play out. In the end our opinions won't make a bit of difference. Imagine if he did what you suggest and use your words. 'This is just the photo op for posterity'........I don't think anyone who knows Bernie would consider that a compliment. People should keep their attention on what is happening on the Floor. Our country is in crisis and we need a resolution. We do not need photo OP's. Thanks for the opportunity to speak.

32. I don't think people mean anything by using Sanders's initials,

but I do remember the middle school kid in me snickering whenever I saw President Obama referred to as BO during his first campaign.

Have you ever noticed how reverently EVERY surrogate refers to The Donald as Mr. Trump? Now that's sickening

36. He said on Twitter My middle name is Bernie Sanders,"

so BBSS would work. Her Sister, a lot of people call him SBS for Senator BS, a way of avoiding giving offense, unintentional or otherwise.

(What were his parents thinking of not to give him a middle name, though?)

9. I hope not.

I think it would be a distraction to what the House is trying to accomplish. In the same breath, I don't think that Hillary or Trump speaking at this time will be beneficial to them. Not saying that they shouldn't do it. It is their choice. I would hope that a speech from Senater Sander's regarding his concession would be at a time when his supporters and team could focus on that.

Sander's concession or lack there of has no effect on Clinton and her ability to do her business.

"We need a revolution"?

I don't see why he needs to speak again, and why he's doing it in New York.

they've discovered that repetition works. Most human beings need it.

That or announcing another lawsuit to "let the voters vote."

38. Not only would it be going against his word, he can't in many states

Ohio is one of them--it's called a "sore loser" law and says he can't get on the ballot as an indie if he tried and failed to win an party's nomination.
He'll support Hillary.

It also requires that a write in candidate must declare as a write in candidate, and the sore loser law covers that, too.

Why on Earth would anyone assume he did not mean to keep his word?

I firmly believe he will keep his word. While he may be quite famously a bit stubborn (this is frequently a good trait, BTW), I've never heard anyone anywhere suggest he was not honorable.

Be it today, next week, next month. Whenever he does it is fine by me. He should be able to concede when he wants to. The election season has moved on, and will move on, whether he concedes or not or does it today or next week or next month.

33. I don't see Sanders ever really endorsing Clinton.

I can see him working hard to make sure that The Donald isn't elected, but I think it's difficult at this point to walk back some of his criticism of Clinton.

I hope Sanders is getting good advice on how to best leverage his primary wins into real power in the Senate.
