Late statement on the primary. I am converting my support to Hillary

As I said before, I was all for Bernie (as you can probably tell from my username)

But I believe the system for choosing candidates is fair, and the people have spoken.

Although I was proud of how far Bernie got, and I hope he is a great ally and stays a Democrat in the Senate, I fully support Hillary Clinton for president no matter who the Republican nominee ends up being.

My college classes ended earlier this month, and I have been working with friends to see what we can do to ensure other states are as blue as the west coast in November.

I forgot which poster it is, but I owe a donation to Hillary as a way to make good on my bet about who would win California.

Hang in there, Bernie supporters. The way Democrats are coming together for direct action against Paul Ryan and the GOP majority in the House is the reason I am a Democrat.

GOP is the party of the wealthy who want to remain wealthy at all costs. The GOP always TRICKS its followers into voting against their interests. They should fall apart as a party after this election.

since the efforts of the Democrats on the house floor. First I saw tons of FB posts from my friends saying "enough is enough" and also showing frustration and helplessness as to why congress won't act on this issue after the Orlando shooting.

Then the Dems were spurred to direct action to subvert the wall of treachery from Republicans. NOw the people are responding by flooding DC phone lines, linking the information on social media, and letting Republicans know their jobs are on the line.

The Supreme Court affects everything. If we had the right judges in place there would have been no terrible citizen united result. Citizen United is destroying the United States. The GOP will further that destruction if they have the presidency. I am voting for Hillary!

and I think he has learned a lot over the years regarding how to counter attack against conservatives. I see Hillary being even more effective as a president than Bill because she won't buy into conservative ideas like repeal of Glass-Steagell, welfare to work, and NAFTA which ultimately hurt our country.

toward the true hearts of the American people - liberal.

she won't buy into conservative ideas like repeal of Glass-Steagell, welfare to work, and NAFTA which ultimately hurt our country.

ONLY if we give her a progressive Congress. Otherwise, she'll be forced to compromise with Republicans should we sit out elections in off years and Republicans sweep back into power.

We need to ingrain within ourselves that important elections happen every single year. Mid-terms and off-years are why Republicans are still in control of governorships, State legislatures, and Congress. Republican voters know they don't have our numbers and rely on our failure to not GOTV in mid-terms and off-year elections. We need to change this attitude, and it helps that Hillary Clinton has understood this and is currently campaigning for a Democratic Congress, as well.
