Senator Bernie on Morning Joe

He's in mid interview (7:30 East) now.

Will you vote for Hillary Clinton in November? "Yes."

He then went on to explain that he is continuing his campaign to open up the Democratic Party and make sure it represents working people and the basic values and goals he espoused.

He is concentrating on encouraging people to participate in politics at all levels, from local to national.

sense, since Clinton supporters already support Clinton. It doesn't help much for November.

Sanders focus now seems to be on Sanders supporters who are on the fence - people who normally don't participate in politics, and might give up if Sanders isn't the nominee. Sanders telling them to just support Clinton is going to cause many of them to give up (some have said as much). But focusing on the movement rather than this particular election is a good way of showing them how the upcoming battles aren't going to be the end of things, but one of many fights in an ongoing process.

The constant campaigning has got to be exhausting. Glad to see him looking rested and working on ground level political involvement.

He continues to do important work and encourage Democratic values, but bringing more people into the process and increasing grassroots participation is the best thing of all!
