(182,632 posts)and I gave Trump PA OH and MI and he was still short. In that scenario it would come back down to Florida again. Yikes.
I had VA for Hilary and NC for Trump. Lots of scenarios but basically any Repub would basically have to sweep the swing states (unlikely) and hold ground in every other state that they had in 2012.

(90,304 posts)... went to Obama.
The poll over sampled dems (maybe cause noo one wants to claim gop these days) though so I'm kinda taking this poll as an outlier...
If there are 2 - 3 other polls with 10 to 15 point leads then that looks like a down ballot ass whoopin for the GOP and that's when they let tRump.

(7,963 posts)There is still so much time left. And I am not entirely convinced the GOP won't try to do something like change convention rules.

(28,270 posts)This year I will be watching it closely to see if the old men with the $$$ in the smokey back rooms try to pull a fast one on Trump and the tea baggers!

(7,963 posts)I honestly, can't imagine that they will pull the rug out from under Trump. But between him staying in or pulling him out, I think they are going to lose more by pulling him out. He didn't just win. He won by an overwhelming landslide. And now, they are stuck deciding if they want to throw big money trying to slow down the freight train that is out of control.
For the first time in decades, I truly excited and inspired. Big changes are coming.

(28,270 posts)I do believe that would be the end of that party, but I can hope!
I think lots of republicans are not going to finance his run and sit at home election day or vote for Hillary. Then wash their hands of the whole mess.
The tea baggers will be incensed over that no doubt.
Either way works for me!
