Is Trump trying to pull a Bullsworth...?

For some odd reason, I was thinking about the movie Bullworth, when Warren Betty plays a presidential candidate who WANTED to be assassinated . Now I'm not calling for anything stupid, BUT...based on his campaign being run on a shoe string budget, always holding events at one of HIS OWN properties and taking campaign money from those events into his bank accounts...is it possible that Trump is trying to pull a Bullworth ???

After Citizens United, this kind of campaign was inevitable.
