Every Vice President in history has been of the same gender as the President they served under, so really, Elizabeth Warren as Veep would maintain a tradition that has lasted more than two centuries.

(15,429 posts)Victori Woodhull was the presidential nominee for the Equal Rights Party in 1872.
Abigail Scott Dunaway was the vice presidential nominee for the Equal Rights Party in 1884.
There's a long tradition of women candidates. No woman has served in either role yet.
I think it would be wonderful for Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren to maintain this long standing tradition of the serving President and Vice President being of the same gender.
