"I personally know I have work to do on this front," Clinton said at a Rainbow Push Collation luncheon, from prepared remarks. Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, spoke at length about a deterioration of trust throughout the country and institutions, but argued that her own trustworthiness issues are a byproduct of politicians looking to score political points and "25 years' worth of wild accusations."
"A lot of people tell pollsters they don't trust me. Now I don't like hearing that and I have thought a lot about what is behind it," she said.
Clinton has long struggled to explain why voters don't trust her, but Monday marked the most thorough and comprehensive attempt she has made to address the issue during this campaign.
"It certainly is true, I have made mistakes. I don't know anyone who hasn't," she said"

(1,442 posts)"No past candidate comes close to Clinton, and especially Trump, in terms of engendering strong dislike a little more than six months before the election. Clintons average strongly unfavorable rating in probability sample polls from late March to late April, 37 percent, is about 5 percentage points higher than the previous high between 19803 and 2012"
So, again... relate that to this comment..

(8,954 posts)Coming around a bend, they met a lovely girl in a silk kimono and sash, unable to cross the intersection.
"Come on, girl" said Tanzan at once. Lifting her in his arms, he carried her over the mud.
Ekido did not speak again until that night when they reached a lodging temple. Then he no longer could restrain himself. "We monks don't go near females," he told Tanzan, "especially not young and lovely ones. It is dangerous. Why did you do that?"
"I left the girl there," said Tanzan. "Are you still carrying her?"

(2 posts)I created this Kickstarter project to help raise awareness that we need to put aside differences, rally behind our candidate and VOTE against Trump. I know for some, Hillary isn't the best option, but inaction may be as detrimental as voting for Trump. Please share this project, so we can defeat this guy ... and if you like the cool design of the t-shirts, go ahead and support the project.
Here's the video:
