Why I believe Congressman Xavier Becerra will be the VP pick

Hillary has consistently said that immigration reform is a top priority, and one that she would like to tackle in her first 90 days.

There is no stronger advocate than Becerra on this issue. As a respected member of the House, Becerra would be a strong voice to gather support to get legislation through the House.

He's not my flawless favorite but he's strong on many issues and does not back down to nonsense. Compared to Kaine he'd be a spectacular choice.

5. I like Becerra...and I think her VP WILL take lead on one of those key areas

so he definitely makes sense. She is fortunate to have a lot of good options!


Editing to add a little anecdote about Becerra....Hillary met with the HOUSE Dems in the morning before their sit-in and Becerra offered to get Hillary something to drink.

Congressman Bacerra is a class act and would be a great VP

I could easily be wrong, though, and I hope I am wrong and she does choose Becerra.
