Close polls are good for TV shows. And of course we don't elect Presidents by popular vote. n/t PoliticAverse Jun 2016 #8

If they included third party, she went up by 2 - 3, I believe. tallahasseedem Jun 2016 #5

especially given all of the other polls and the fact that the FOX poll just released has her 6% ahead.

I remember this crap from 2012. Keep the polls close = cash.

Not buying it.

Her numbers drop from 48% to 45% and his numbers drop from 44% to 41% when 3rd parties are added

Clinton is up by 4 in PPP's latest poll, 45% to 41%. Despite being a democratic polling company, she has never done well in their polls.

There was a time where I would be certain that she would but I have lost a lot of faith her in the last few years. She seems to worship to the corporate media gods and the money they rain down on true believers.

19. Quinnipiac and PPP polling....

Have IMHO become the outlier of pollsters the last few election cycles. I remember when Quinnipiac used to be considered the gold standard of pollsters. That's no longer the case. Additionally, I find it hard to take PPP seriously when they ask questions in the vein of "Would you rather have a meteorite (or whatever it was supposed to be hitting the earth) hit the earth or vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?" Yeah, I got no use for such stupid questions in a poll

I'd be giving a poll the "side-eye" even if they had the candidate I was favoring WAY Y ahead in it's polling.
