Despite Pennsylvania Being Central to His Strategy, Trump Campaign Is Non-Existent In the State

Nearly everyone can agree that Donald Trump’s path to the White House goes through Pennsylvania.

But local party leaders in some of the state’s most pivotal counties say there’s been almost no outreach from his campaign so far, and there’s scant evidence of any Trump-driven ground organization. What infrastructure is in place lags behind the Democratic coordinated campaign on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

-Snip-

“The state committee, the state party has people on the ground,” said Bill Donnelly, the chairman of the Montgomery County GOP in suburban Philadelphia. “The Trump people themselves I haven’t heard from.”

When there is outreach, Korns said, it’s not always from credible or official sources. “There are a number of individuals, with varying levels of authority, some self-appointed, some not, that sort of float around on that campaign, so it’s definitely been a bit of a learning curve on our end,” Korns said.

The incompetence of his campaign is truly a site to behold. Its like driving past a massive car accident. You just can't look away.

1. But isn't Donald Trump supposed to be a brilliant manager?

Why is his campaign such a mess in organization, financing and message management?
He has said that he has a great brain.
He has said that he is a brilliant businessman.
He has said that he gets the best people.
He has said that he gets the best deals.
He has said that he gets the best prices.
He has sad that he gets the...

Screw it.

Donald Trump is an idiot.

He is clueless . Big Apple dreaming on a shoe string budget. There is a huge divide between the primaries popularity contest and the serious coordination that needs to be in play for the general election.

Not suprised.

Rachel Maddow summed it up best last week.

He's not running for president..he only wants to expand his brand.

Running for office simply gives him free advertising.

He doesn't know how to get shit done, and isn't even good at hiring others who do.

They tried to hire a bunch of experienced campaign managers in swing states and seasoned strategists. They were told to fuck off by nearly everyone they approached. No one with any credibility wants to get within 10,000 feet of Trump.

11. Two weeks ago, Trump had 28 full time staffers in the U.S.

Hillary had over 800. The thing that will ultimately doom Trump is not his racist remarks or lack of understanding of the issues, but instead his complete absence of any GOTV operation and ground game. He won't have anyone registering voters before the deadlines, he won't have anyone encouraging his supporters to turn out for early voting, and no one to help drive his voters to the polls on election day. These operations are critical to winning when you are polling ahead, let alone trailing by a lot.
