Didn't most of his repuke pals outspend him and still lost to Trump? I though Jeb Bush spent an extreme amount in the early portion that he was in the race for.

He still has to run nationally, against Clinton, who has a large and growing amount of money with which to campaign.

Advertising matters. It truly does. I"m guessing that Trump doesn't want to put any more of his own money in this thing, really. We have no idea what his liquid assets amount to, anyhow.

In any case, I'm just posting the numbers, as you did for Bernie Sanders, who is no longer in contention. In both cases the numbers reflect the totals as of May 31, 2016. No numbers are available for June from the FEC, which doesn't see them until the end of July.

Just numbers. Make of them whatever you wish.

... once he drops into the 30s its down ballot time and they'd kick him to the curb with the quickness

They won't be submitting another filing until the end of July. It's not a pretty picture. Basically, his campaign is broke and deep in debt. He can use the media, of course, but it can turn on him at any time, and is likely to soon.

I think there's still a chance he'll withdraw before the convention. He hates losing. That'll throw the GOP into complete disarray, actually. There's no good response from them if Trump drops out. Chaos would be the order of the day at the convention. Total chaos.

Meanwhile, the Clinton nomination is assured and will go smoothly. She has friends, donors and cash on hand. Smooth sailing ahead.
