Biden Spills the Beans: Sanders will endorse Clinton

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/286206-biden-spills-beans-sanders-will-endorse-clinton

Vice President Biden says Bernie Sanders will endorse his Democratic primary opponent, Hillary Clinton.

"I've talked to Bernie. Bernie is going to endorse her," Biden told NPR's "Weekend Edition," according to NPR reporter Rachel Martin.

Now all of y'all haters who keep bashing Sanders, insinuating he is not really a Democrat (violation of the rules), and generally calling him an idiot, egotistically, etc. can kindly stop and focus on defeating Trump.

Bernie is focusing now on making an open and inviting Democratic Party that champions progressive values, and once the convention is finished he will endorse Clinton I am sure.

It is trotted around regularly the stat that supposedly only 8% of Sanders supporters won't support Hillary; so is it really needed any sooner than that time?

With every passing week, day and hour, people are caring less and less. Our interest in the "will-he/won't-he" game is barely a flicker. At this point, any import it may have had has long disappeared. Not it's just an odd thing to watch happening (or NOT happening, actually).

I see that there's a lot of excuse-making going on ... more than previously, in fact. This suggests to me that Bernie's defenders are beginning to feel a sense of urgency (perhaps embarrassment for the Senator) and that's why many of them are trying to deflect the critics.

I laughed at the part in the OP where it referred to people who criticize his post-primary behavior as "haters"... and in the same stream of consciousness the OP lectured us on breaking the rules.

Whatever the Senator does or doesn't do no longer matters. His views are now irrelevant to the general politics.

So I wouldn't assume that this is reliable. With that said, this endorsement does not matter, because Clinton is already doing quite well.

to make the platform entirely his. It's not going to happen. Not only that, the DNC sure as hell is not going to do something to embarrass our sitting President, and put in language which vilifies HIS treaty.

Elections have consequences and the consequence of Bernie losing the primary is that he has limited influence over the party platform. Even that reflects Hillary being very generous since every previous runner-up for the nomination (including Hillary herself) got no influence over the platform.
