votes were likely to have a greater number of Bernie supporters, while the early voters were more likely to be Hillary supporters (early voting is connected to age).

As it is, this final outcome was quite close to the results being predicted in polls at the time.

I was surprised how big of a margin there was on election night. So it seems that while Hillary won, Bernie supporters were correct in believing that he had not lost by the margin they were showing on election night.
