Trump Postponed VP Announcement After Nice Attack, But Not a Giant Glitzy L.A. Fundraiser

Donald Trump, a snot-flavored Jelly Bean gaining a frightening amount of power and influence, has had a curious reaction to the ghastly terror attack in Nice, France. One the one hand, he postponed announcing his vice presidential pick; on the other, he went ahead with a giant fundraiser in Bel-Air. Who knows? Acting presidential is hard.

Trump spent last night at a fundraiser hosted by Carla Sands, widow of real estate mogul Fred Sands, where people paid at least $2,700 to eat “pan-seared salmon and fresh fig salad” with Trump, per the L.A. Times.

anymore than I would hold it against anyone for going in to work the next day after such a tragedy.

Politicians need to raise money. It's their job - canceling the public events at such a time is appropriate, as is not canceling the non-public events.

I just think Trump's full of shit when he acts like he cares about the victims in Nice and then says that's the reason he postponed his VP announcement, when the truth is that he didn't want to share the newscycle with anyone else.

He's either being sued or he's suing someone.

I wish the media would mention the child rape case. That's definitely something people should know about a presidential candidate.
