I still can't get over the GOP intern photo

Current demographic trends were on the way to positioning the Democratic Party as a multi-ethnic, multi-racial party representing all segments and ethnic groups in the US. Then along came Trump and white supremacist outreach to the white resentment that drives middle class, lower middle class and lower class white contempt for multicultural America. And it looks like the Democratic Party will achieve its demographic mastery even sooner -- and the Ryan selfie with his Aryan collective behind him, when compared to the Sheila Jackson Lee photo, makes it even more clear.

I'm not a big believer in "pure" ideology or people who try to introduce ideological thinking into policy-making. I believe that politics is a game of bloc-formation and coalition-building, and I believe that the Democratic party is strongest when it incorporates all segments of American life into itself and outreaches to every segment of American society.

That Ryan didn't have the Black woman way in the back on the upper right move up more closely to a position of prominence like how the various state delegates had the "ethnic" person (when they had one) read out how their delegates were voting at the RNC.

Two Black people in a row from two DIFFERENT states? My God, republicans truly are the big tent.

their gerrymandered, all-white district that they are unaware that people of color exist.

THAT WOULD BE FALSE.

They know exactly what they are doing. The repugs are purposely the all-white party. It's no accident.

This is what they want. Let them keep it up because we outnumber them. They can't win the presidency anymore with just white votes. Those days are long over.

And their gerrymandered districts are going to be redrawn in 2020 so that's going to end as well.
