Ok. Tim Kaine is killing it

And love how he keeps interspersing his Spanish ....crowd seems to love it. Just seems like an all-around good guy.

This may be exactly the right branding for the Clinton campaign as a stark contrast to hum-Trump.

for most at least. Following a thread on another board and it's just a lot of surprise. "I can't beleive how wrong I was", "wow, I was so wrong about this guy", etc. etc. seems to be a common thought process. My Republican dad was watching with me, and I think he was convered to supporting a progressive agenda on the spot, lol. It's not just how Time Kaine spoke either, but his personality and demeanor is a perfect contrast to everything about the Republican ticket.

What a clear-messaged, positive, sunny, amiable, accomplished person--not only a perfect partner to support, complement, and humanize Hillary Clinton, but a perfect foil to the acrid, selfish, dark team of Trump and Pence.

I was a minor skeptic of this choice at first, but I now think it's brilliant. As was the brilliant choice of Tammy and Marvin singing Ain't No Mountain to introduce them!

Tim Kaine seems like he has the EQ to have influence over the long term.
A stronger dose of progressivism (Warren or sanders) as VP probably would have been ignored by Hillary.

As far as the range of likely picks for her, he seems like a very good one.
I found Kaine's comment about knowing what it was like to have a dictator in the Honduras particularly fascinating.

I like the Jesuit schooling, the racial closeness, the awareness of the lives of the have nots, the readiness to confront the NRA all very positive.
