(375 posts)But it won't happen. There needs to be a very serious investigation about the whole structure of the DNC. Prior to DWS the head was Tim Kaine? So you have to question the choice of VP candidates.
This will make for a very interesting convention.
The System is rigged and we need to change it.

(58,785 posts)out of reach? Let it go, all right. She always was out of your reach, Chasstev.
Btw, how come both these favorite targets are women when men in politics outnumber them several to many, many times over depending on the position?

(4,490 posts)Seems like making big DNC changes like that during the GE season would be a bad idea. Wait until 2017 to make changes with an eye towards the 2018 midterm elections.

(26,507 posts)Should she lose her seat in Congress and should she resign or be replaced in the DNC - will Hillary give DWS a job in her administration should she win - or will that be a black mark on Hillary should she give her a job?

(26,507 posts)I hope you are just being sarcastic.
Bottom line if Hillary were to appoint her to some position in her administration - it would appear that Hillary approved of DWS's shenanigans. I don't think Hillary wants to bring that down on herself.

(53,550 posts)but I've been calling for Wasserman Schultz to resign for a long time now. I don't think she is good at her job (check the 2014 mid-term election results) and she clearly showed bias throughout the primary season. When she limited the debates to only six and then threw her co-chair under bus, I was totally turned off.
Her history as DNC chair is very disturbing. Asking the DNC to pay for her clothes for the 2012 convention and again for the 2013 Correspondents Dinner was totally inappropriate. She used meetings with DNC donors to solicit funds for her own PAC and campaign committee. I think there are serious ethic deficiencies. Also DNC chair should not be a part time job, especially in an election year.
It is not just future primaries, there will be mid-terms in 2018. How many races can we afford to lose?

(3,373 posts)themes that (1) the Democrats cheat and lie and (2) they think the rules everyone else has to follow don't apply to them and (3) even when they get caught red-handed breaking the rules, there is never any enforcement or prosecution.
I'm sure Hillary is smart enough to stop that from happening. I'm sure she is smart enough to make sure that there are swift and significant repercussion for the violations.
I think it makes sense for these people to either immediately resign or to be immediately suspended pending further investigation during the convention and, when the dust clears, accept resignations or fire them in August.
The suit against DWS is fatal to her political future. The question is where do we draw the line to stop the bleeding.
