I have a great way of uniting the party: name Elizabeth Warren as the new party chair. (eom) (Original Post) StevieM Jul 2016 OP
I wonder if she wants that job? SpareribSP Jul 2016 #1
I think she is being vetted for a bigger role. AgadorSparticus Jul 2016 #2
No thank you. She is more effective where she at. MichiganVote Jul 2016 #3
No. It's an administrative job--organizing and fundraising. MADem Jul 2016 #4

There won't be a new party chair until well after the election, if then. eom MohRokTah Jul 2016 #6
I think that would be a total waste of her talent. Not to mention a total time drain. Native Jul 2016 #8
I'm pretty sure she doesn't want it. JI7 Jul 2016 #9

Outreach and influence. Getting down in the weeds.

The party leader is not the DNC chair when the POTUS is a Dem; they're just a strong right arm. The party leader IS the POTUS when we own the White House.

EW doesn't like that kind of stuff. She doesn't care for money in politics, though she'll raise it and take it because she knows how the game is played.

She's more of a policy type. She's an issues-based actor.

It is just an idea of a way to unify the party.
