The makeup of the Philly protesters speaks a lot about the racial division within the Dem party

Just gonna put this out there cuz its like the elephant in the room that nobody is talking about. You can him and haw all you want about the DNC leaks but it still doesn't explain away the fact that Bernie Sanders message did not resonate in states where there was a significant Latino and particularly African American population. The faces that I'm seeing in Philadelphia protesting and wearing Hillary for Prison t-shirts speak to the racial division that played out in the Democratic primary. And while there are some die hard Bernie or Bust Black Black and Latino voters who will not vote for Hillary, they are VERY few and far between because the ramifications for a Donald Trump presidency are far greater for people of color.

So to see people out there nonchalantly talking about voting Trump as "payback" for not voting the right way is also a slap in the face to all Hillary supporters, but the optics of it also play out in a way that is a slap in the face to the many minority voters who voted for Hillary Clinton. Yeah....I'm seeing it on twitter too in terms of people talking about the privilege some folks get to have in saying they can deal with a Trump presidency. This is a subject I know most want to avoid but its there and no one is really talking about it. It makes me very sad and very angry that anyone thinks this way.

I'm still confident that once the dust settles and we really get into the meat of this race with the debates that most Sanders supporters will come around. But there will be holdouts...more holdouts than there were for Hillary people who didn't vote Obama. But people like me can't be so nonchalant about the prospect of Trump being President.

Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and Muslims are the ones who will suffer during a Trump Presidency.

Trump supporters freely admit that they want Blacks, Hispanics and Jews removed from the United States:

It will be over. But that's why you don't pull stunts like DWS did. She's made the party look bad.

The protesters need to stop, truthfully the primaries are over.
