(14,167 posts)Interesting that they are interrupting Warren when she is addressing many of their interests.
Warren is pure class.

(72,790 posts)Seems like she's trying to restrain herself and trying hard to focus on staying on topic. Not as much fire as in other speeches.

(72,790 posts)The words and delivery are fine, just more low key than I've seen from her. Usually there's more passion, more raising of the voice, more arm movements.

(72,790 posts)I was a bit underwhelmed. Someone said down thread that EW was holding back. I agree with that choice of words.

(1,124 posts)very effective speech ... a calm reasoned explanation of why Republicans cannot be elected! She's building up to a crescendo now!

(5,272 posts)and Clinton will fight for. A lot of them are totally news to me, and Clinton has skirted them far more than Warren suggested, but if that's where the party is actually going to go ...awesome!
I did have my hand over my mouth when she said there was no gridlock in Washington any time they wanted to rip off the american people, but then somehow she pivoted to saying that democrats are the ones who have always fought for us. That was a little jarring, but if she gets to be a part defining our democratic platform going forward, I've got high hopes.

No worries, Michelle brought down the house.
