That is inaccurate. We are not so intolerant that as long as Kaine personally believes it is wrong but does not believe in forcing those who disagree, that we consider it a challenge. People have the right to be against it, just not to force that legally. Kaine makes it clear it is only personal to him and legally and politically he is pro choice. This post is an attempt to divide and create trouble by pretending he is really antichoice politically.

(110,324 posts)Choosing Kaine does NOT move Hillary toward the center.
Both of them firmly believe that the government should be OUT of the decision making -- that it should be solely the decision of the woman. Neither of them are trying to impose their religious beliefs on others.

(456 posts)Abortion should be a last resort not a form of birth control. Kaine holds the positions that million of democrats hold on a number of social issues the democratic party has chosen to adopt, but we know how to separate our personal beliefs.

(320,534 posts)I thought that was settled and now I'm seeing all these "pro abortion" articles

(24,858 posts)I'm glad that abortion exists as an option for women. I don't expect women to apologize or feel badly for having abortions.
At the same time, I can understand that some people may belief that abortion is immoral or that abortion is murder, while not having that belief personally.

(7,389 posts)women should have full control over their own bodies. And I would never rule out having an abortion myself because I'm rational enough to realize that I could never predict how I'm going to fully react to any situation until I'm living in it.
I don't find anything contradictory in Tim Kaine's position and neither does Planned Parenthood.

Kaine has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood and NARAL.
I would have preferred Warren or Becerra, but if you want to attack Tim Kaine, abortion isn't the issue.
