I wonder if Chris Christie understands he will never be nominated for president by the GOP

I've heard many comments on various stations--TV, radio--where rabid republicans blame him for 'pausing Romney's momentum' by his praise for President Obama during the hurricane. They are upset that Obama and Christie could work together, despite different parties, for the good of the people of NJ.

all their conviction fall alongside of the road when it behooves them. it wont matter in 2016 what christie did last week, if they see it is their chance to win.

for helping Obama win. Besides he is not 'tea party' enough for the GOP--unless they move to the middle. Jeb will try and do that.

there is no bigger thing a republican can do than break ranks ...

Babble like a moron about rape, have an affair ... No problem.

But, dare to do ANYTHING with a democrat will end a republican's career.

to take the Party back from the loons. I think they could do it if they set their minds to. A lot of Republicans vote Republican out of habit, not because they agree with all the Teabaggers. If the Party keeps letting the extremists run the agenda, they will become a fringe party.

I like Chis Christie. It's his party I hate. If he is part of that Rethuglican gang I could never support him. If he flips and becomes more of an independent like Bloomberg I would consider voting for him.

their base of extremist idiots has to be disowned by them first, those Tea Bagging clown reps have to be removed from office and that will take sometime. Then they have to find viable none polarizing candidate for 2020 and that will be a miracle.

I know she has said no, but 2016 is Clinton/Warren.....I hope.

The Democratic party should take yet another step to the right. Look, Christie is a good act sometimes, and he'd make a fine moderate Repub, but he's not a Democrat in any world I consider myself a part of. The best you can say about him is that he's one Repub that if he won the Presidency you might not be thinking of slitting your wrists on election night.

The repubs never really like Romney in the first place and they love Christie. Yes they are upset now but I think by the next four years all will be forgiven.
