What About Bush? Not One Peep About The Last Republican President's Carnage

America barely survived the last Republican President.

The entire Republican Party agrees with his insane economic policies.

We missed a huge opportunity to attack the economic terrorists and failures by pointing this out.

Trickle Down, and Tax Cuts For Corporate Outsourcers is insane, and we forgot to mention it.

Fail.

1. The reason is easy- she isn't running against Bush. Got to have a clear focus on who the opponent is

And Clinton is hoping to appeal to some of his supporters who think Trump is crazy. There was no reason to bash him.

Republicans. They just choose to lie to themselves.

Bush did sort of win two elections. To do that, he had to get millions of people to vote for him. Hillary would like some of those people to vote for her. No need to remind them that they were responsible for putting that disaster into the Oval Office...twice.

4. POTUS mentioned the mess he inherited, in his speech. I think that was sufficient

We need to concentrate our energy on preventing an even more gawd awful man from entering the White House.

8. Far from a fail, it's good strategy.

Not only are there more than enough more-immediate issues to go after Trump with, and Republicans in general without specifically mentioning Bush, this approach leaves the door open for a Bush endorsement of Clinton.

A Bush endorsement might be the last thing you'd personally want, but the power of such an endorsement to help rouse the country out of the denial of how dangerous and awful Trump is, and to help the country see how much better a choice Clinton is, despite the many issues that normally divide the electorate, would be amazing.

At this point I don't think that's out of the question. The Bushes are already on record as #NeverTrump. Leaving the door open for an actual Clinton endorsement by not bashing Bush is a very smart move.

9. She didn't attack Bush because she's trying to appeal to Bush republicans

Obviously the Bushes and Trump are not pals. Bush surrogates like Anna Navarro despise Trump. Why do anything to piss them off a votes a vote.
