1. 'Likes' are tweets from others that his account would like

IE....I could tweet ' Crooked Hillary Eats Puppies' and Trump's account would hit the heart to 'like' my tweet, and he would then have 92 likes.

2. Twitter "followers" can be bought by the thousands,

mostly fake accounts originating from third world countries. Some of Don's followers are Democrats watching his account...

4. Absolutely correct!

My followers are almost all Clinton followers and 48 of them follow Trump. Know thy enemy. ....I have considered following him to make it easier for me to make fun of his tweets, but I just couldn't bring myself to do that.

23. 5 Million of Trump's Twitter followers were found to be in Bangladesh, near India.

.

Hahaha! You thought that was going to be the sweatshop workers who make his clothing. That's in China!

7. Just 'cause you follow him doesn't mean you support him

some people just like watching a trainwreck.

of support.

10. "Hope you get this, Donald, but--"

One of my Facebook friends tweeted Trump. LMAO

And Donald, the word you wanted is "Loose".

If there's a "lose cannon" in the race, I'm guessing it's going to be YOU.

15. You can buy followers

http://crosscut.com/2016/07/data-dive-fake-twitter-followers-in-seattle-washington-state-politics-media/

Like so much about Twitter, the prevalence of fake accounts on the service is a strange and mostly pointless thing to think about. But because I gravitate toward these kind of thoughts sometimes, I ran a quick search to see which local politicians, media organizations, journalists, and columnists had the most following them.

Selling fake Twitter followers, odd as it may seem, is a multimillion-dollar business. Buyers include politicians wanting to project an image of wide support — the fact Mitt Romney’s account once jumped by 116,000 followers in a day is an example. They’re social media managers at companies, seeking to impress their bosses. They’re media organizations aiming to demonstrate wide reach, perhaps in an effort to appeal to advertisers.

I don't look at it much and never Tweet. However, I could see following Trump just for the appallingness of it.

18. Followers is not the same things as admirers. I'm sure that a large percentage ...

... of those "followers" do so for the train-wreck aspect of it, or for the humor.

24. I've got just over 1,300 and I'm quite sure that most of mine are real people

Mostly having to do with music, other DJs, artists, labels, publicists and music lovers.

Recently, since I've been tweeting and retweeting about the convention, I've picked up some more followers. I'm quite sure that they're other lefties who are interested in politics.

As a nobody guy like myself, over 1,300 followers is a hell of a lot. But then I follow a lot of people myself and these are people who have followed me back.

On Twitter, aside from celebs, the real winners are nude and semi-nude models. They attract a lot of creeps, I suppose. They probably block a lot of guys who do nothing except send them pics of their junk.

Twitter is nothing like the real world. I guess that's why Trump keeps posting his message their.
