It has become clear, in my opinion, that the wrath of Khan will have lasting implications

On this election. Trump's response to all of this will be studied in communication and public relations classes for years to come as textbook examples of how not to handle an adverse situation.

Although, the Khan family is now the face for the American Muslim and Gold Star families, and that's a great thing if you're a Democrat. That, more than anything, will be the thing that makes a difference in November.
