Chris Christie is pretty much finished in New Jersey politics. His approval rating has fallen greatly since the GW Bridge scandal and his anemic run for the Republican nomination. What other offices could he seek? I think it's unlikely he would run for the House of Representatives because that would be too small-time for him with his executive experience. Likewise, the Senate would be too limiting for him. And that's pretty much it for elective offie.

The only real alternatives he might have would be appointments like Attorney General or another cabinet post. But since the next president won't be a Republican, that isn't likely to happen.

What else could he run for? I think he'll probably get a partnership in some law firm where he'll cash in on his government contacts.

In any event, Chris Christie is a jackass.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but it was still worth pointing out.

He can only bloviate when Herr Trump says so. And if Chris Christie cannot bloviate is silent because that is all he knows how to do.
