der drumpfenfuhrer is getting exactly what he wants with the insane comments

about the khans, and whining about the debate schedule--LOTS AND LOTS of coverage of him, taking attention away from HRC, of course. and the media just plays right along with him. it is all theater to him.

Less than half of self-identified Republicans are 'rah-rah' for Trump and his antics. Most of them are physically ill by Trump. He has no coat tails and is depressing the Republican base of voters. The more he flings his poo, the further away he gets from the Oval Office. Middle America, independents in particular, are sprinting away from the GOP. I know a lot of Republicans who are voting for Gary Johnson this year.

Donald totally took the DNC convention off the news and it should have been the focus all weekend and this week until Tuesday at least. That jerk!

He's totally shooting himself in the foot in the process.
We just need to help Hillary get her positive message out.
Hillary's the capable one. And Trump, well, he's doing an
impressive job of auto-destructing.

It's not deliberate. Trump literally doesn't know why he offends, or that he will, until the feedback comes and he finds that, for some unfathomable reason, he's not admired for them.

Remember the "hit them so hard" rant? He actually described one of his would-be handlers trying to soothe him back under some semblance of control by appealing to his vanity, with absolutely no idea that that was what was happening. "Don't hit down" -- in reference to a man, Bloomberg, Trump's almost certainly been extremely jealous of for decades. A fellow NYer, Bloomberg's far wealthier and has the social position and leadership Trump's always been denied.

Next, he'll just refer to them as blue collar workers, undeserving of GI Bill benefits. He'll poison the minds of those supporters, and that's how he'll convince them that military families and soldiers are "taking too much."

But that's not true. He's looking like an ass right now, and Hillary is smart to just stand back and keep digging the hole deeper.

the more it hurts him.

I have absolutely no problem with the convention ending and this immediately being the biggest story. The convention was extremely positive, and then immediately segued into Trump attacking a heroic, dignified American military family over and over again. The difference is striking, and the polls are reflecting that.
