3. this really needs to be revisited

There aren't words... I can't imagine how the loved ones of people who died on one of those "little rides" feel when they hear him say these things. Not that his personal opinion matters--he's just a gibbering idiot--but there are people in this country (people who would probably describe themselves as super patriotic, no less) who still cheer for him. If I or a loved one had been grievously injured in the war or if I'd lost somebody, the fact that there are members of our society who still approve of him after saying such wicked things would really hurt me.
