What the Khans really did for all of us...shattered stereotypes.

On Thursday night I watched and listened to a deliberate and well-spoken man talk about his war hero son and his love of the United States and its Constitution. I watched the diminutive woman at his side, silent, in a veil, and I wondered what she was thinking. This man was not a wild eyed terrorist shooting a gun in the air as Donald Trump would have us believe. This man was waving the Constitution of the United States at us and at Donald Trump. This woman was not some subservient female slave forbidden to speak as Donald Trump would like us to believe. This Gold Star Mother had plenty to say but chose her moment to rebuke Donald Trump...her moment, not his.

So this couple, in one small window of time, did more to shatter every Muslim stereotype out there. This couple, in their quiet way, kicked out the ugly underpinnings of the Trump campaign. I think that this may be the tipping point for Trump's campaign owed in large measure to two American Gold Star parents who happen to be Muslim immigrants. So fitting.

47% moment. Hopefully, even more devastating to the Thug Party than the 47% nonsense was to Rmoney's campaign.

The Khans, like millions of other Muslims, are contributing members of American society. Yet Drumpf wanted to ban the entry of all Muslims. After several months, he walked that back to Muslims from "countries with records of terrorism."

He's a bigot, plain and simple.

All Khizr Khan had to do that night was exhibit that one element he had in abundance. DIGNITY!

That he did so just that way was a testament to all of us. It was the best speech of the convention. When he whipped out his pocket constitution, there was not a dry eye watching.

We all felt what he and his wife felt in their hearts.

It was an astounding moment (fixed):
