18. Oh, I didn't watch any of the Correnation
Funny that his endorsement hasnt been replyed
For me, its the typos splattered through the misleading message that gives it away:
first ...errrrr....Correnation?
Next, I do believe after the 15th replay (...and yes, it's replayed) words of Bernie at the Convention Roll Count, I can almost repeat it word for word...BY ACCLAMATION!!!!

I myself have been baited, and berated and called some pretty vile names by many of those Busters. I've seen them gang up and swarm in some pretty nasty ways on good, honest and kind DUers. I'm not quite ready to forget and let them go into oblivion.
I'm quite happy to consistently expose the chicken shit, lying, hateful, dots of fly shit on the wall so many of them continue to be. The exposure does feels cathartic in a way. In other ways is a confirmation of why I disliked so many of them while on DU, and why when they make a foray back to DU, I find them extremely untrustworthy and question their motives.
I'm simply not ready to let history repeat itself.

When there are OPs that tout loudly that there is no difference between Hillary and Trump, and there are many "hear, hear" type of responses, I tend to wonder how this type of mindset was created.....and if there is some angle for reasoning. It's then that I wonder of there is any reasoning or if it is just republican ratfucking.

But to be honest, I find myself in between boards. I think Hillary clearly is better than Trump, but I am not thrilled with our choice. I post on both boards though and try to be positive on DU (and Trump bashing) and vent more at JPR.

(27,814 posts)It is also albeit inadvertently the internet Comedy Hit of the Season!
Youll laugh, youll cry and then youll laugh again!
The conspiracy theories alone are worth a visit, and feature some of the most creative speculation available on the net: Did you know that Bernie was sporting a cut on his face last Tuesday, because the Oligarch Henchmen punched him as a warning if he didnt concede? Did you know that HRC stripped Bernie of his secret service detail so that he could be gotten to if he didnt cooperate? Did you know that Bernie endorsed HRC after the lives of his family were threatened? You, too, can be in-the-know with one click of the mouse!
Long-revered Democrats thrown under the bus daily! Why wonder whos next in line for an under-the-transmission tumble when you can read it as it happens!
JPR also features insightful body language experts who can tell you how Bernie was apparently scared to death during his speech endorsing HRC. There are also useful posts about secret messages that Bernie is transmitting in his current speeches and no expensive decoder rings necessary!
If you subscribe right now, youll be first in line for insider info about how Bernie is still going to win the nomination, how Hillary will be indicted any minute now, and how you can sign-up to be a plaintiff in one of the brazillion lawsuits being launched against the DNC based on the unshakable legal ground that they were mean to Bernie!
And JPR is highly educational! Learn how the election was stolen! Learn how any sources of info about Bernie supporters now backing our nominee are just making shit up! Learn how on-line polls, lawn signs and bumper-stickers are the only legitimate way of determining the true winner of any election! Learn how to ignore facts and statistics and put your trust in random bloggers who say exactly what you want to hear!
Stay away from JPR? Not a chance. I havent had this many laughs in years!

(18,837 posts)Any attention you give to that site is attention that you could be giving to something more useful and constructive.
Whatever is posted there has no impact on what is posted here.
It's the same principle as our Freeper friends. I seldom, if ever, post any F.R. content here. I used to, because I think it's important to know what is being said in 360 degrees, whether I believe in it or not.
And more often than not, cherry picking the latest wit and wisdom and insight ( ) from F.R. is met with a chorus of "Who gives a f*ck" when posted here. And over time, I started to think "Yeah. Who does give a f*ck, and why am I wasting time agitating over people I disagree with and people who seem to be a few slices shy of a loaf?"
JPR is whatever it is. If it's a gathering of disgruntled former DUers or a clubhouse for Republicans or a "hate site" or whatever else the casual observer might want to call it, who...cares?
And please understand that I am not saying this with any disrespect for you, but in 2016, I can't think of a time in my life where the stakes were higher. Going to JPR and doing the data scrape of the most outrageous comments and posting them here may get you a few "Yeah, those guys suck" high-fives, but what is the value of that? If the goal is to support the Democratic candidate winning the election, how is the time and effort put into publicly shaming JPR going to accomplish that?
Look, we all know that JPR is not a pro-Clinton site. In fact, other than F.R., it may be the most high-profile anti-Clinton site in this election cycle. You know that. I know that. I think it safe to say that everyone on DU knows that.
Now that we all know that, maybe it's time to just let it go and let them do their thing and focus on the positive, not the negative. I know that may sound like one of the "inspirational" posts that litter Facebook feeds on a daily basis, but if the goal is a Clinton victory in November, posting about JPR on DU is the equivalent of deciding that you want to travel from California to New York and instead of doing it in a straight shot, you decide to head west and circle the globe. It's going to take longer, it's unnecessary, and the extra effort produces nothing of value.
Don't like the site? Don't go to the site. Like DU? Feel like you are in the presence of like-minded people with a common goal here? Then post here, focus on the goal, and everything else is nothing more than background noise.

I'm sorry your threads were not well received. Bummer. But it's hardly cherry-picking when you can throw a dart at either board and quite reliably land on the same brand of stupid.
Whatever.
Don't like threads about JPR? Don't click on them. Use your "trash thread" feature. Like threads on DU where you feel you have a common goal? Then post there, focus on the goal, and the JPR threads will become nothing more than background noise.
