BREAKING: New poll shows Trump and Hillary tied..........in Georgia!!!

A new poll shows Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton received a bump after the Democratic National Convention and is now tied with Republican candidate Donald Trump in Georgia.

The exclusive Channel 2 poll conducted by Landmark/Rosetta Stone polled nearly 800 likely Georgia voters. The poll, conducted over the weekend, found Trump and Clinton deadlocked with 45 percent of the vote.

and while the Convention bumps don't always last (although Ii surely do hope it does), this has to be giving Trump some serious heartburn.

I didn't know if it would hold. Today I read that the Sheriff's office in one GEORGIA country are intimidating black voters in their houses. This indicated to me that they ARE worried about Georgia.

Bill won Georgia in 1992.

I've just been a tad giddy that Utah is not bright red, any more. We've elected our first openly gay female mayor in Salt Lake City and Mia Love is in trouble. I don't anticipate Utah going Blue by election day, but man, there are changes in this wind.

Georgia always seems like the white whale every election.... can;t ever seem to get it. It's kind of like PA for the GOP. They always think they can win it....

I am not terribly optimistic that Hillary can win there. If any Democrat could have won there it was Obama, and even he couldn't win there (although he didn't really try). My concern is that the same people who didn't vote for Obama because of racism also won't vote for a woman, but Hillary probably won't have the same level of black turnout Obama did.

I feel as if Obama IS on the ballot, effectively. These two are closely joined at the hip, for better or worse. Obama will campaign as if he were on the ballot. Also I think white women will be an easier pick up this time around down south. But this is my wishful thinking...completely unscientific.

Our (R) Gov. vetoed "campus carry" and "religious freedom" bills.
