MEANWHILE, in an alternate reality, HILLARY IS STILL CAMPAIGNING

Have you all noticed that 90% of every tv "news" hour is STILL taken up with Trump's antics?

Hillary Clinton -- and even Barack Obama -- get only a passing mention.

Is there anything we can do about this? Are any of you trying to address this issue by writing or calling the media?

Hell, remember when she was routinely mocked here for her listening tour last spring and summer?

She's doing the same thing again. Going out, meeting people and groups, engaging with somewhat larger venues, and doing what a campaign is - meeting people and pressing the flesh.

Let Trump flame out in the media. Anything she gets for attention would just be about Trump anyway.

on Trump's outrageous behavior, but they're pretty much killing him.

Hillary does well to stay out of the crossfire. It's an opportunity for her to reach out and shore up her support, a necessary item on the to-do list. She will need to respond to real-time issues when and if they arise. Right now, she has the luxury of not having to do so.

“The greatest victory is that which requires no battle.”

“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”

“If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.”

“He who is prudent and lies in wait for an enemy who is not, will be victorious.”

I'd rather get Hillary elected - if she campaigns and no one hears her message, that ain't gonna be helpful.

is showing results where it counts. Not only have the polls taken a dramatic swing but Hillary is gaining support in every region of the country. Even the South.

The Trump implosion has begun.

Even Scarborough has written the man off, pleading for the GOP to save what it can, mainly the Senate and House and the advantages Republicans have carved out in state to state legislatures.

Good luck with that!

is unending, the reality is that the media is 'All Trump, All The Time', which seems fun now because of the damage he's doing to himself, but not great for Clinton/Kaine to reach the people they need to get their message to. Through horrendous behavior Trump is still what the nation is talking about.

America needs to see that they can vote 'for' Hillary and not just 'against' the Abomination and campaigning in a vacuum isn't helping.

I started a thread posting that we should be listing Hill's positives as well as Trumps negatives. Especially since somany positives stories came out of the convention. I think it got all of 8 responses.

It's as if we've been co-opted into 'Trump Underground'. Even here he controls the narrative.

Especially ridiculous considering how much gnashing of teeth there was because of the 'wall to wall coverage' he was receiving in the MSM - throwing every 'Liberal' pundit imaginable under the bus.

Now people seem cool with it - how quickly things change.

I'm comfortable with the media chronicling his every mis-step for now. I think it helps as much as anything the campaign could be doing for the time being.

Keywords: for the time being

add. No one who knows me would ever accuse me of being a glass half full type. But there may be some hidden benefits to this. One, every minute spent covering this talking hemorrhoid. Is minute they're not spending grinning up fake ass scandals every time Clinton opens her mouth. Or her husband scratches his head or some surrogate farts. Now mind you. They'd realize this eventually but for now it may not be a bad thing (it doesn't add to her negative numbers). This also feds the perception of a flawless campaign, similar to the convention (I know it wasn't flawless, but you know what I mean). Second, it makes it more difficult for the wishy washy assholes who normally decide our elections to support this shit flinging orangutan.

Yes, in the end it brings down the discourse (I get the irony of someone who uses the descriptions I've used above talking about bringing down the discourse. But you're just gonna have to go along me here ). At this point unfortunately this is where we are as we continue our descent into Idiocracy...... also everything said above could be wrong.

Yea, I get what you're saying. Hillary to speak at full house tomorrow after visiting a local Small Business. She'll actually be explaining her job creation plan. I care more about that than anything The Orange Blob is doing or saying, but I guess most people like watching perpetual train wrecks.

During her time here, Clinton says she will detail to the people of Denver how she will pass the largest investment in job creation since World War II.

Clinton will first tour successful Denver business Knotty Tie Co., which was featured on Denver7 on Monday in this report.

The tour, which isn't open to the public, will get under way just after 1 p.m., before her 3:15 p.m. rally at Adams City High School.

On Tuesday, tickets to Clinton's rally were no longer available. Clinton's website notified visitors that tickets to the event had all been distributed. A full house is expected.

Edit? Lack of concentration. Suck at multi-tasking.
