Joy Reid knocks it out of the park again!
Right now, she has Malcolm Nance, General McCaffrey and Carl Paladino (Trump surrogate) on her show, and she is kicking Paladino's ass to the curb!!!!! Wish I could post the clip!
On edit: Paladino was saying disparaging things to Gen McCaffrey ("Where did HE get off the bus" after the General said Trump was a danger) and Joy said (paraphrase) "I won't let you disrespect a triple Purple Heart winner."
She then asked if the General if he chooses to respond, but also said it was okay if he didn't, since responding would dignify the comment from Paladino.

where she wouldn't let the Hillary hater rattle on with his half-truths. Just talked over him, giving him a scolding, and wouldn't let him continue.
I was half-awake, but STILL, I found myself saying "keep going, girlfriend! Don't let him get away with it. Attagirl! Step on him. Keep it up! Keep going! Keep going!" She was almost combative. She did NOT let him get the last word.
She's done this before, too. Quite a few times that I've seen. She'll jump right in there and correct their lies and distortions, butt in right on top of them sometimes. She MAKES them stop. She'll keep at it until they stop - or give up. As far as I've seen, she's the ONLY one who does that - anywhere. She just won't let them continue. And there's NONE of this "well, we're gonna have to leave it there..." crap, either. That's one particular pet peeve of mine. To me, that denotes a lazy interviewer.
Like Wolf Blitzer did, the other day, for example. He sat there and let Katrina Pierson blather on about how Captain Khan's death was the fault of President Obama and Hillary Clinton. He SAT THERE, like a big fat cow pie, and let her carry on. And then "had to leave it there." WITH NO CORRECTION. Just let that stand. Evidently somebody in the control room mumbled into his ear piece that - "um, Captain Khan died in 2004. Obama wasn't even President when he was killed." After the break, the idiot came back on and THEN, somewhat haltingly, with his HORRID breath-control problems, more or less corrected the record. But Katrina was long gone by then. So the correction after-the-fact meant very little, and certainly didn't hit home with her.
I HATE HATE HATE the way these so-called news "professionals" just let stuff stand. When it's patently and provably and in some cases GLARINGLY untrue. Maybe they think they're somehow being "objective" by letting this person have his/her say, and then letting that person have his/her say, and - THERE! See? We've been objective! Both sides-both sides! And all that! I've been totally fair. Chuck Todd has that disease, too.
