Twitter suspends acct of Melania speechwriter Meredith McIver, isn’t a real pe

Days after Melania Trump gave a Republican National Convention speech which was plagiarized from an eight year old Michelle Obama speech, the Trump Organization laid the blame on her longtime speechwriter Meredith McIver. The trouble: no such person appeared to exist. Various pages depicting her life were discovered to have only been created after she was assigned the blame for the plagiarism, including a Twitter account which she primarily used to keep insisting that she was in fact a real person. But it appears that Twitter’s management has ultimately reached the opposite conclusion, suspending the account in question.

He's a child trapped in an orange suit six sizes too big for him.

My bet's still on Trump himself as the chief plagiarist. We know he's far too dysfunctional to realize how stupid and immoral stealing a Democratic first lady's speech would be. And Manafort rushed to toss Melania under the bus. Who else would he do that for?

as part of a weird head game he plays with himself, in which he tells elaborate lies or scams people just to see what he can get away with. It's not a motive I would normally ascribe to anyone...but this is Trump!

And, of course, he always knew he could blame someone else for it – his wife. What a guy. The level of respect he has for his wife is shockingly low, especially if it's true that he released her nude photos to divert from the Khans controversy.

from their responses.

He has a bunch of people he can blame stuff on and, interestingly, doesn't in front of the cameras as part of his stream of consciousness, perhaps because he cannot believe he does anything wrong that needs it. His mode is to double down on attack.

Imo, hard to guess if he knew showing off his drop-dead gorgeous, others-can-only-dream wife might be an insult to her, or if he just saw her beauty as a trophy that proves his greatness. We know he understands distraction.

But the article relies upon a menton in one of his ghostwritten books and a reference to Meredith McIver during an interview. In each case, the only evidence was the Trump publicity team.

"While Meredith McIver may have maintained a low profile throughout her years in Trump's employ, she has been spotted by at least one journalist and maintains an active voter registrant. The sudden spotlight shined upon her made her convenient appearance suspicious, but the evidence suggests McIver has been kicking around Trump Tower for quite some time."

But their claim rests on shaky evidence.
