1. Yesterday's Trump rally

I noticed there were a few African Americans on the grandstand behind Trump. I thought that was unusual and maybe these folks were the entirety of Trump's 1% support. But then I noticed that these people weren't smiling, weren't applauding, weren't cheering with the rest of the crowd. Then it was obvious that they were probably paid to be there - for 'optics'. Like all things Trump, the veneer is thin and product phony.

Women and PoC saved this country from the increasingly unhinged right wing in 2008 and 2012.

I have hope that they will step up again and deliver us from Trump and his brownshirts this fall!
