Can we please take this back from the tea baggers? Watch The John Adams miniseries this weekend. When that came out I got one of those flags and put it on the ceiling in my kid's room only to have the redneck patrol claim it a few years later.
It will twist their nitties in a knot if we start using it for a liberal symbol.
Besides, if Ben Franklin did design it, it's clearly an intellectual creation and those are ours.
