Little things like civil rights pale *wink* in comparison.

It's one of the reason "well, they voted him in, let 'em live with it" is one of the most utterly simplistic and sub-literate sentiments trending on the uber-hup market today.

Gerrymandering, electoral fraud, voter suppression, et. al. has all but effectively prevented the voices of so many people from being heard, and the idiots continue to pretend that "Well, if they were elected, they must have the most popular ideas in that area... so to hell with the lot of 'em!"

How would you fix it? Thanks to the election of Bush...we lost voting rights. And thanks to the whining and crying because Obama could not get everthing done in two years we lost numerous state houses ...resulting in a gerrymander and voting suppression. It seems to me the answer is to vote for Democrats at every level.
