In 2013, President Obama & Dems Should Try To Pass Immigration Reform. Force Rubio...

...to jump off the cliff with the rest of the Senate Republicans by making him lock arms with Mitch McConnell and filibuster immigration reform. Likewise, alienate Rubio from his Florida constituents by forcing him to filibuster election reform measures designed to decrease the six hour waits to vote.

These would be reforms beneficial to all Americans and Florida specifically, which is why Republicans will oppose such reforms. Because they can't help themselves.

Finally, Republicans won't be able to resist going racist and scapegoating immigrants leading up to 2014. This is when Republican governors try to hide their lack of progress by blaming minorities. Thus, Rick Rubio and Ted Cruz will be forced to lock lips with the most racist elements of their party.

Immigration/Dream Act should be a big priority.
A) Its the right thing to do.
B) Excellent issue to divide and conquer the republics. If they embrace the issue, they lose the teabaggers, if they obstruct/filibuster, they've lost the Hispanic vote forever. Big Latino or weak teabagger turnout in 2014 likely gives Dems the House and several Governorships... and puts Dems in a strong position for 2016 Presidential year election.
