2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI could find two dozen negative articles about Hillary's campaign
in seconds. Anyone could. There are so many sources of material attacking our nominee out there, that finding such negative writings is child's play. So what?
I would not post any of them here. They're from biased sources and reflect the biases of their writers. Maybe they focus on some poll that isn't favorable. Maybe they long for Hillary to fail. Who knows?
This is Democratic Underground. There are many places where one can read attacks on Hillary Clinton. DU should not be one of them. Simply because negative writings about our nominee can be found does not mean they belong in threads here.
That's my opinion. Thanks for reading it.
For those tempted to post biased attacks or denigrating articles about Hillary Clinton or her candidacy, here's a section from this websites Terms of Service:
Do not post disrespectful nicknames, insults, or highly inflammatory attacks against any Democratic public figures. Do not post anything that could be construed as bashing, trashing, undermining, or depressing turnout for any Democratic general election candidate, and do not compare any Democratic general election candidate unfavorably to their general election opponent(s).
Why we have this rule: Our forum members support and admire a wide variety of Democratic politicians and public figures. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but our members don't expect to see Democrats viciously denigrated on this website. This rule also applies to Independents who align themselves with Democrats (eg: Bernie Sanders).

(146,329 posts)DUers post on DU right now. I don't care how anyone felt about Bernie Sanders. He is not the nominee. We have a nominee. Supporting her is what I'm doing. People who are running her or her campaign down are doing just the opposite.
This is not about Bernie Sanders. It is about negative posts about our nominee. I don't like them.
